Logging on to the Alumni Hub
What is the Alumni Hub?
The Defence International Training Centre (DITC) website has two views:
- a public view, for everyone to access and enjoy
- and a password-restricted view, known as the Alumni Hub, for current students and alumni.
The Alumni Hub is for DITC Alumni of the Teacher Training Section (TTS) and requires an invitation to access its restricted content.
The Alumni Hub content is designed for previous participants of the TTS courses (i.e. MELT, ETDC, TPC, and ECDC) to continue engagement and professional development with DITC, and each other.
What type of content is in the Alumni Hub?
The content inside the Alumni Hub will be updated regularly and includes:
- Discussion forums:
To help keep students, past and present, connected with each other and DITC staff. They are a place to talk informally, and post about questions, interests, or thoughts that you want to share with your peers.
- Topics:
There will be a new topic every month that will provide interesting facts about the English language or training.
- What's on:
News, graduations, and events of interest in Melbourne, Australia, and online.
- Alumni experience:
Videos that show how to use the DITC website and Alumni Hub, as well as items of interest.
- Gallery:
Alumni course photos.
- English for specific purposes - military:
Examples of military English to help you with your studies.
How do I obtain a login to access the Alumni Hub?
DITC has a list of TTS alumni who will be invited to join the DITC Alumni Hub each year when invitations are sent around the 9th of August. The invitation will provide details on how to access the Hub using a username and password.
If you are a current or alumni TTS student and do not have access to the Alumni Hub, please contact your DITC Course Coordinator or teacher, and they will help you obtain access.
