Given that a candidate’s country has requested their attendance on a DITC course, recognition for a course, or components of it not to be completed, would not normally be considered.

There may however be exceptional circumstances in which a candidate may apply for recognition which will be assessed by CO DITC on a case-by-case basis. 

Recognition may be considered by DITC for the Administration and Reception Period (ARP) and any of the teacher training suite of courses.

It is recommended that this form is completed with the assistance of a Defence Cooperation Education Officer, or a member of DITC staff.

For DITC’s English language courses

If a candidate is unsuccessful in their ADFELPS assessment, they may seek a waiver to attend the relevant course through the International Policy Division.
