The Methodology of English Language Teaching course is a ten-week course for individuals with little or no previous experience as English language teachers.
Course aim
MELT aims to teach the skills required by new or inexperienced English language teachers to prepare them to teach real beginner, elementary to intermediate level English language classes.
The course aims to develop basic English language teaching skills including the confident use of English for classroom management. It provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to teach up to the Australian Defence Force English Language Profiling System (ADFELPS) Level Six.
