Overview

The Pre-Officer Training Preparation Course (PT-PREP) aims to prepare for the rigours of Australian Defence Force (ADF) Officer training.

PT-PREP will introduce the Australian Defence learning environment, provide insight in to what can be expected during officer training and equip candidates with some of the skills required to succeed. 

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of PT-PREP, participants will be able to: 

• study within the ADF learning environment
• communicate effectively and participate in leadership training and defence studies within ADF contexts
• display the attitudes and behaviours commensurate with ADF rules, regulations and administrative procedures.

Prerequisites

• Test successfully at an appropriate level on the Australian Defence Force English Language Profiling System (ADFELPS).

Audience

• International military.
• Officer candidates.
